The Flamingo or the Mandalay Bay?
Ah, the eternal question remains: Style or Location?
I am of course refferring to the decision that one has to make at the beginning of every trip to beautiful Las Vegas: Do I choose a hotel based on the beauty of their rooms and casino, or do I choose a place with a great location and then GO to the nicer places? Well, why don’t we take a look at the bathrooms as the deciding factor.
We will use the Flamingo, which has a perfect location in Vegas. It is mid-strip and is walking distance from:
the Bellagio,
Ceasars,
Bally’s,
Harrahs,
the Mirage,
the Venetian,
The Wynn and Encore,
and many of the hot nightclubs and nightspots of Las Vegas. We will compare the Flamingo with the Mandalay Bay. The Mandalay is at the very end of strip, has very luxurious rooms, a gigantic casino with an awesome club, bar, and a huge pool with a water park. It is not too difficult to get to other places on the strip, but it would definitely more convenient to be more mid-strip.
